backwards saw blade

Jump back, Jack! See ya later, alligator! James Brown

At first glance it looks like the saw is tilted upwards, but as I look closer, I think it's cutting at an angle.  Other than that, I don't see anything weird.

I don't know why you'd need a cold saw for wood, but sure lol

For cutting cold steel?  If that's the case, why show it cutting wood?

Hell I don't know.  I'm just guessing.

Clearly you all aren’t aquatinted with the State Saw of California. Guaranteed to cost you twice as much, work half as hard, and be built wrong to begin with…some assembly required…obviously…

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

The teeth where it's cutting into the wood are carbide, but look at the bottom of the blade.
What is this a multiple use blade?
Or are they just hidden by the guard?  (I just saw that)lol

Down at the bottom, right above the words,  I thought that part of the blade was a masonry blade
(because of the expansion slot I guess.)
Don't mind me I'm off my medicine....

If you zoom in close enough on the blade you can see an image of Elvis.  It’s there, I swear it!

It's real.  I did it on my LP.

Yeah, that's way wrong and the hex is all boogered up too.  Grabbing whatever hardware is handy doesn't apply to a situation like this.
My question would be: "Why is the saw set to cut so deep?"

Mike

framers always set the saw at it's deepest no matter what they cut. changing the depth would take too much time when your making hundreds of cuts a day.
