Scrap Bin Phone Holder

Ha, my kids are funny with their cell phone holders bought off the internet.  

Simple and cute enough they were, but I saw an opportunity to put my spin on it.

I didn’t want to spend much time on it, but thought it should reflect my scrap bin, full of short pieces of beautiful woods that needed forever homes in cool projects.

Some of the challenge was to build in actuating buttons that would operate the volume and home button features.

For added measure I added an amethyst pyramid for and antenna and a funky silver lizard on top.  

I don’t think I used it much, but my kids loved it and that was the whole goal anyway.
