I made the first one from maple,  I thought it was cool so I made another from walnut.
Then I blew up the template and made a bigger one from walnut.
The small ones are about 5" tall and the bigger one is approx. 10" tall.
Great little decoration for the shelf.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

That walnut finished really nice.  I think that the next one should be life sized.

I’ve seen several of these but yours are the nicest so far.
I really like the big one.

The early bird gets the worm but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.

Thanks,  I would like to make more, but there is way too much hand sanding for these old hands
(arthur starting to set in,  thumbs are almost worthless,  getting shots every 3 months)

I think that the next one should be life sized.
Funny that you mention it.  I once went looking for a big band saw that I could put a rolling turntable at the bottom and cut out furniture using big engineered blocks of wood.   Ugh,  Never Happened,  LOL

Thanks oldrivers,
The video is from someone else explaining how they're made.  It's not mine.
I only made the ones above in the picture.
