Crazy,  not much else to say.
The last picture is of my good buddy (RIP) Jeff.  He was a sales rep for Brookside Veneer.  He was a great guy.

I don't mean to say I told you so,  but I told you so!

Psychedelic, but awesome workmanship.

Half of what we read or hear about finishing is right. We just don’t know which half! — Bob Flexner

WOW !!!!! ok you were right. worksmanship top notch, the design...........well.maybe they were happy with it. im not sure i could have built that for any amount of money.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Now that is a mesmerizing bit of veneer work. Not so sure it’s a good idea to be drinking around it but the workmanship looks excellent.🤣
👍👍

I don't mean to say that this is the kind of furniture I don't like, but I don't like it. I hope you still like me ;)

That's a lot to take in visually.  Top notch work but, like Dutchy, not sure it would be my choice.  Good thing we all have different tastes or this world would be boring!
That a fancy bar and a person would be dizzy after a few. It is different for sure, sorry not my style. Love the craftsmanship though.

Hmm, maybe that would help someone know when they have had one too many :)
Thanks for the comments.
I also agree, it's nothing I would have considered for myself.
It's definitely not my design.  Sometimes I think designers are just trying to hard.
But....It was a paycheck,  so I'm not complainin...

Thanks for posting it. It definitely catches your eye. I think it would have been more striking and attractive if the designer had inserted some contrasting pieces to break up the pattern.
Thanks Ron.  Yeah,  anything to break it all up.  Maybe not so much of it on the back bar portion.
It's just too much,  I wonder if it's still there? Probably have new owners by now that tore it out,  or painted it,  lol.

Wouldn't you? lol!
I have to say....I've had to build some stuff over the years that brought on an immediate face palm..."they want WHAT?"
You've got me beat though Bently....you handed my ass to me! ;)

Talk is cheap,  Let's see some pics.
Although if you were to beat this,  I think I could find something uglier still..

Like this for a start:
I got plenty more where that came from.

I can even compete with you in the stair business.
Don't be jealous...

I knew you had it in you! I could make a stair guy out of you, no doubt.
That was probably badass....in 1975 :)
