Project Information
ok well here are my beer/bq projects. i made a bbq tool set kit i got from penn state industires. handles were all turned on the lathe with cocobollo, with a bonus cocobollo bottle opener also from PSI. hey in a beer swap,it's a given. the spice caddy is made from zebra wood. handle attached with SS rods. plugs are cocobollo. rubber bumpers on the bottom of caddy. finish is several coats of GF arm r seal. sorry but i didn't take a lot of pic's for this. now if you wanna see the beer my recipient mike has that posted on the swap.

i gotta say if youve never done a swap your missing out on a lot of fun with some of the best guys on the forum.well except kenny…....just kidding he runs the best swap on (other forum) and ill be back next year.

so people kenny has promised to run the swap here next year so if you wanna have a great time make sure and join.

Great looking set,  very nice of you to give away your talent unselfishly.

Figuring out how to do something you have never done is what makes a good challenge.

bent thats what the swaps are all about, sharing our talent.there is no selfishness from anyone. i can only say ive been amazed at what the swappers have done.ive been blown away, and thats what i love about the swaps. for example in this swap kenny had me.well things went wrong with his projects and the box of beer getting lost and destroyed. but he was not happy and made me a whole new project plus sent more beer. even though i said it's cool dont worry about it. thats why i love the swaps and the great people that participate ! so i always try my best to go above and beyond what anyone would expect !

i noticed today that they did do some swaps here, about 5 years ago ? i think we can do a good job educating them about how a real swap is done !

This set-up would make any BBQ look better. Great job.   MIke
I got one in the works, chatting with Martin.

I sent Martin a copy, waiting to hear back. But looking at something after New Years. Simple to get others involved.

Looks like something form one of those fancy Men's mail order sites..... I think it's called Larry's or something like that.... :-)

Is it too early to start the next beer swap?
Nice stand, nice set, very well organized!

Swaps are the bomb! As Pottz said, the best part is the involvement. All the folks seem to really want to be there and want to put forward a good foot. I’ve got to say, I’ve been pretty uncomfortable on one or two of them, just knowing it was a project type I didn’t have experience with…but I was excited to put in effort and learn new skills. And the reveals are always a lot of fun! I hope it’s something we pick up over here…and I hope we can advertise it well and get some folks outside the ‘group’ to be involved! Always great to get more people involved.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Agreed Ryan. So far only 7 of Us in the other one. There is still time though, I need to send out a couple of more invites, but the guys I'm thinking about haven't been posting for a while.

That other one might not hold up Eric. Consider moving it and combining it here? Dunno…

I know that, but I was the to start it up before the exdous. So, I will keep it going. More for me and I don't like to back down.
