Did you use only the "best wine" or all of the corks?    Nicely done.

Ron

well i try and use only corks from "good" wine. i used to sell em at my wifes craft show she was in. one time i made one using only two buck chuck corks,no one would buy it-lol. even though many probably drank their wine-lol.

I bought a big plastic bag full of nice corks at a flea market in Colorado Springs, Colorado when on vacation a couple years ago. The guy worked at a big wine bar ( ? ) there and saved them to sell. Got them pretty cheap, thought they looked cool. I now have a use for them. Thanks for the idea. Your trivets look great.  Mike
thanks mike.they make great gifts and dont cost a lot.

My FIL used to make those trivets as gifts! Wow. Nostalgia..

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Good work...I'm stealing it for sure...

Winner idea for what is usually tossed for the dog to fetch!

I'll have to ponder what I can use all my beer caps for. I can flip them pretty fast 'n' hard across the yard, but then they start to annoy SWMBO.

How do you attach them to the base?

Shame to have to open all those bottles just for the corks 😁
Splinter, you could make a cross box to fire them over the fence.

splint i just attached em with hot melt glue.

I did one of these. It just lost something in the translation between corks, and screw off metal wine bottle caps....
ha ha, yeah those screw caps dont work so well.
