Project Information
this is a cabinet i did about 8 years ago for a coworker to hold his 500lb aquarium, its made of oak with melamine bottom and back, euro hinges and an adjustable shelf. the finish was just clear satin poly.this was a quick 2 day weekend build.

Your 2-day would be my 2-month 😬

Looks great
it was a simple box construction with simple trim and doors. it just needed to be strong. actually if you count the finish it was 3 days !

Very nice, pottz! I used to keep tropical fish when I was younger, and I never had my aquariums on anything that nice.

I’m with Barb—that would be a multi-week project for me.
looks very sturdy i think it could hold more weight GR8 JOB 😍😎

Nice and clean! Quick 2day weekend build… I don’t think I can even finish the doors within 2days, haha.

No name noobie here

I like the recessed doors with the soft edges. Nice look

You did a fine job Pottz. And yea that needed to be sturdy, 500 gallons = 4000 pounds just in water + all the accessories.

Beautiful craftmanship....expecting some good finish here...

I'm not a fan of oak either but it does come out nice on some projects
