Project Information
this set of steak knives was a kit i got for christmas about 4 years ago, finally got around to making them.the handle material that came with the set was a phenolic material that well just wasn't very nice so i made the handles from cocobolo.the pins were another unattractive brass so i replaced those with mosaic pins.the knives are stainless steel.finish is 3 coats of wipe on poly.

They look. I’ve buddy! Hey where did you get all the Cocobolo from? I know you use it a lot.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Seems like you've already mastered a knife making! Very attractive knives.

No name noobie here

Great looking set Pottz.

inherited it from my dad. he had bought a ton of it before he retired over 30 years ago. supply is getting low though.

Nice job on those knives Pottz. The other site removed everything about you and I thought I lost my buddy forever. I'm so glad to see all my friends here. That other site sucks, before the change I had to scroll back several pages if I was gone for a few days and now I've been gone for months and there might be a dozen projects posted.

P.S. send me your real email in case you get crazy and get yourself kicked off this site. Ha ha ha ha

hey buddy you made it. i was asking if someone would let you know were i had gone. this place rocks buddy,it's like the old lj's and maybe better. martin the owner is super cool and works hard to make improvements which he's done a bunch of just since i joined. he has a lot of help from msdebbiep. i think your gonna love it here too. i send ya my email, but i dont plan getting kicked off here. no censorship or post getting modified or deleted here. all the best people from that "other" place are here. and you can say lj's without getting spanked here.

Nice work! That cocobolo is always a treat to see.
Good looking knives.   Love to try them out on a good slab of cow haunch.
