floating night stand.
Project Information
wall mounted nightstand, the 3rd bedroom piece that goes with the dressehamptainer and bed i last posted. this one is also made from cherry and ambrosia maple. the drawers are solid cherry with half blind dovetails, and soft close glides. the drawer fronts are a 1/4" veneer of the maple and 1/2" of cherry. the handles are the same as the dresser unit, rockler handles with maple burl. the size is 32"l x 15"w x 17"h. drawers are 12" deep. the finish is my standard maloof formula,3 coats with a wax finish. mounted to the wall with a french cleat.

mounted to the wall with a french cleat.
Wuz gonna pull you up about hanging with sky hooks and then you went Frenchie on me... but the how'd you hang the cleats?
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
yeah i dont like sharp edges. ambrosia is a beautiful wood.
