Project Information
this was inspired by lj's member wasatch that he posted on 5/20/19.when i saw this i had to make one myself, the shroud i had just wasn't getting enough dust due to the fence blocking the flow of dust, with this combination of fence and dust port it gets most and it actually sucks the wood against the fence.he made his horizontal but i went vertical, either way would be fine.this is hooked up to a 4" hose out the bottom.im not posting dimensions because every situation will differ and it's very simple, just a box with the duct on the bottom.i do get a little dust over the top but only when pulled out past 10".thanks wasatch i never would have thought of this.

I don,t have a radial arm saw anymore, but when I still had I would use this great solution.

yeah it works great.

That also might work for a chop saw. I tried everything I could think of, or viewed on the web and never had any success.

Nice solution - Speaking of chop saw dust collection I tried this solution I found on YouTube. My cloth was too flexible and got sucked over the port. Still - I think he's onto something...

might be worth a try. he didn't show it being used though. luckily i only use mine for angled cuts, all my 90's are on the RAS.
