Project Information
weve had these oil lamps and the beagle keeps getting very close to knocking them off the tables so i made up some bases to keep them from sliding around.made from mahogany 6"w x 3"h. the grooves are filled with epoxy tinted with a powder made from mica and iron dioxide, can be used for many craft purposes. comes in many colors. the finish is mylands friction polish done on the lathe. rubber feet on the bottom. made a total of 3.

update-after a few years the beagle has not dumped one yet šŸ˜

No name noobie here

Sedona would never knock over a lampā€¦thatā€™s beneath herā€¦šŸ¶

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Nice bases,
PS,Ā  those table tops are getting a little weathered you should make some new ones out of Ipe......

(Bent wouldn't be Bent if he didn't say this stuff)

Figuring out how to do something you have never done is what makes a good challenge.

Great solution Pottz, they look good. Really like the oil lamps too.
