this is a set of patio tables i made several years ago,i just finished sanding and re oiling with penofin. the tops are 8/4 mahogany with maple inlay, and the bases are 4/4 ipe. the large table is 36" with a hexagon base the 3 smaller tables are 24" with square bases. assembly was with bisquits no screws used.
update-i have since replaced the tops with 4/4 ipe.

This is a beautiful piece! Now you made me want to work with Ipe but it's too hard... oh well, I ended up buying beaten up ambrosia yesterday after your night stand project:)
i just leave em outside. i just keep a good coat of oil on em,or wax. well i work for a large lumber company here in socal, but we dont sell hardwoods so i got a local supplier i get it from. we do sell ipe though.
