circle sanding jig

well I guess today was shop improvement day,got my drill press cabinet done then built my ivan majuvla inspired circle sanding jig.i was going to incorporate kiefers fine adjustment feature but decided I really didn't need it.i can sand circles from about 2-1/2" up to about 44",which should take care of my needs.made from shop scraps,and rockler knobs.this is a simple jig that only took me a couple hours of time well spent for the future.once again thanks ivan for the inspiration.

Jigs make life easier. That is a good one. I could see a good use for that type of jig on my Ridgid ocillating edge sander.
I'm not a fan of that type of disk sander. It may be user error but for me it seems to burn as much as it sands.
I use a similar jig to cut circles on my band saw. With a sharp blade I can sand the cut smooth by hand.

yeah since making it ive really not had any use for it but hell ive got a shop full that kind of stuff-lol.

It's size that matters!
If you made it any bigger Pottz you’d have to rent a hall. Good work. What kind of disc sander is that? It’s a big guy.
