Wooden Cyclone

I worked out of a two car garage at the time I made this so wanted a large Cyclone but not needing one of those high buck systems. plus I just kept seeing the shop made out fits and wanted the challenge.
I made it using a 7 gal. pool bucket so it holds quite a bit a saw dust before it needs emptying.
These pool buckets also have a screw on top and are made with extra thick plastic so I've had no problems with it collapsing on me.
I boxed in the vac so it is much quieter but be sure to leave a lot a space for cooling or the vac can over heat.
Over at LJ,s I had a blog on the build so if interested you might what to check it out.

Nice build, and neat with the staves. I opted for for a purchased one, and use a fiber barrel for mine.

Dark_Lightning   if you could see the show I'd have to add commercials to cover for entrainment, me thinks.

Proof what my daughter said is true: "A dad is someone who'll buy a tool just so he can make a holder to display it on the wall."  Similarly, we, often, enjoy making tools, equipment and jigs as much as wood things for the home and such.

This one should serve you well.

That is a lot of great work. I’ll check it out on LJ.

I had to laugh when I read your daughter’s comment. Lol
