this is a serving tray i made for my wife after her surgery when she wasnt able to get up easily, its made of mahogany with a formica tray that is adjustable with the knobs on the sides. she used it to eat on and as a lap top tray.
working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment,somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Fine joinery. The Formicas black and brown colors match the color of the mahogany.
The knobs are a nice touch. Don’t make the mistake I made and adjust one side higher than the other. It wasn’t breakfast in bed it was breakfast on the bed.

Very nice Serving Tray. Well constructed. I like the adjustable feature. Perfect for a tilt when using the laptop and nice and level with raised edges to stop plates of food sliding off.

thanks kids. yeah level is a good thing. and yes when using a lap top you can tilt it. i tried using it once after we got new furniture for the family room but sadly it's about an inch too wide. oh well another future project i guess ?

I like the adjustment option that allows it to have multiple uses. Having an easy to clean surface it another great feature.
