Rounding Plane
Needed a 1 1/4 inch rod for a vice screw, so made a rounding plane.
Usual rambling picture blog here
Seemed to go wrong more than right while I was making it, but turned out OK.
Hand tool build only, feel free to comment/criticise as always.

We make the tools as the need arises. A good-looking plane, and a nice write up.

Cheers splint, it's possible that I'm just easily sidetracked, I could have just planed it down to close enough for the tap - but who doesn't want a new tool? :)

It's not the tech, as long as it works... The trial and error raises the degree of difficulty.
After all, the F1 car probably started with a nut!
