Small end table
a friend came to me and asked if i would make a small end table he wanted for his girl friend. i said sure. so he sent me some pic's and measurements. table is a cherry wood base with a walnut top to match what he had. size is 16"x 16" top 24" tall. legs have a taper on the inside. top is attached with z clips. assembled using dominos. finish is 3 coats of maloof oil and a final wax. i put small rubber bottons on the legs. id say total time was about 6 hours.

That is a very nice table. I bet the girlfriend is pleased.
The cherry should darken up nicely and tone down the walnut/cherry combo. Personally I think they go together well.

not this time jimmy, it was a simple project that i could have done in a day. thanks for the comment my friend ! my friend did the exact table in high school woodshop and he said it took 2-1/2 weeks because they only had 1-1/2 hrs a day. now he has no shop so thats where i came in !
