Snowman and box

A nice asked for a snowman after seeing the one I made her mother last year. I added the storage box to make it a present.

I don't know what the sides wood is. Top is walnut. Kaisan foam inside the box. Lid is press fitted into the box.

Snowman is 8" tall about 3" wide. Redwood 4x4 leftover from a deck I build a long time ago.

Brass rod inlay to index the lid to the bottom.

Very Cool Petey!  I love the addition of the custom made box....Ive never seen a legacy snowman before but this one certainly is.

Very cool and an insulated box so he does not melt.   Neat.

With that box it could be stored and on display  on the shelf year round. To nice to hide most of the year
GR8 JOB 😍😎👍

Petey, a lot of effort for a piece of ice that's only gonna melt.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Sharp looking project and should be well liked. Thanks for showing.
A lot of folk has said “VERY COOL” and yes a beaut snow BUT he’d melt in minutes downunder with our 95-105F current temperatures 🥴👍

Thanks all!

I just remembered I have to get it in the mail!

I hope the box is refrigerated.
Both look good.  Nice work Petey,  niece should be happy.

Figuring out how to do something you have never done is what makes a good challenge.

Both are cool, Petey!!
