1/3 Cup Scoop

I could not find my coffee scoop from last year so I had to make a new one. I needed some lathe time, too.
This scoop is made from one piece of olive wood and I put six pieces of mesquite and pecan  ( 3 of each) together to make the bottom which was also the spigot for turning the inside..

It is finished with Danish oil and then buffed and waxed.

Amazed at how small you can work with on your lathe, and a scoop non the less 👍

Thank you all for all the nice comments. These are fun to turn ... you just  need to keep clear of that spinning handle!!
