DVD shelf

Sometimes you just need to make something useful. Over the years I have amassed quite a few DVD's. I watch these much more then network TV due to the ad's and stuff just not interesting. Well, I had them in several boxes and crates which made a problem when I want to watch that "one movie". Not to mention the amount of room they took up. I finally got around to making a place to keep them and more organized. Just a simple shelf, made of pine and assembled with a kreg jig. Stained to match the floor and polyurethane. Nothing fancy.

Good looking shelf!
Has the rustic vibe which appears to fit in perfectly with your floor, very nicely executed. ๐Ÿ‘

Thanks Tony. That box was from the last box swap and was built for me by WildBrianWood.ย  I added a couple of my turnings to display and my wife added a Valentines decoration.
The simple projects can be quite fun! And you were smart to leave room for more inventory.
Nicely done!ย  The color match looks perfect.
I agree that dvds are still nice to have, and being able to find the one you want...even better. ย

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Thats a pretty good match to that floor.

I recognize a thingy there!ย  ย Yes, the Good, the Bad, the Ugly.

Ok, that there! ๐Ÿ˜€

I still consider paying up for a DVD vs. a good ol' VHS tape.
Looks good Jeff, I ripped all my DVD's onto a drive years ago, but still seem to have them stuck on shelves all over the place.
