Hand cut dovetails
This is some of my handcut dovetail work and a flush hidden hinge.

I've dovetailed one time in my life. Many moons ago. With a jig and somebody holding my hand all the way.
I should try, the worst case is messing up a piece of wood, and I've done that many times.
