*** I'm transferring all my past projects from LumberJocks website to here ***

(I am frustrated with its website format (not user friendly) as I have to beat around the bush to get things done there, ie where's the edit button, etc., etc... It will take some time to completely the transfer of all my past projects, so stay tunes ok :))

Project Completed in 2021

Briefly,

- Sam's Foosball Table -

Designed and handcrafted it myself

Idea generation and conceptualization are inspired by Sam Maloof joinery

Adopted measurements from "Tornado Tournament Foosball Table" and concept of single goalie from "French Bonzini"

Design influences? "Art of Nouveau" - leg curvature sculpting profile & "Art of Deco" - cabinet (body) with sharp angles and geometrical shapes profile

Project consists of 2 genres: woodworking technicality and artistic style (shaping & sculpting)

Materials used are tropical hardwoods and softwoods, brass (solid & hollow) rods, stainless steel hollow rods, custom-sized tempered glass and felt cloth

Couple of years in the making (approximately 6 hrs/day X 365days) due to acquisition of materials

Glad it's finally done and happy it turned out well

That's a fancy looking, highe end Foosball table. Nice work.  I, for one, haven't seen it since I moved over here a while back and quit LJ cold.
Awesome! I hadn’t seen that one either. Thanks for sharing!

By far the nicest table football I've ever seen.
Hi Sam

To edit look for the 3 dots (look up in the right upper side of the page), click that and just follow the prompts. Once you get used to this place it works pretty well.

The Foosball table is ART, very nice work. The lines are very much Sam Maloof like.

Nice build s'm'...

Always loved Foosball.  Back in the late 60's I used to go ice skating and the rink was one of the few places that had a Foosball table.  I used to spend about 80% of my time hogging the table, emptying my packet of 20c pieces and placed on top to reserve the table... actually got quite good at it...  if challenged, often played all nigh without having to pay.

If my DID partner was sober enough, I'd build one so I can play myself.'

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

I agree - that's the nicest foosball table I've seen!!
