—Made of Meranti Tropical Hardwood
—roughly 250 hrs into making of this rocker
—finishing with boiled linseed oil and final coating with beeswax

great job on that rocker sam. having done one i can greatly appreciated the work it took to create. well done.
working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment,somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Excellent! I can't imagine how much work it takes to make one of these. And then get everything to line up
So many intricate shapes and blending, it'd take me 500+ hours!

After being part of a woodworking site for quite a while it can get easy to see a Maloof style rocker and forget how much time and talent is on display.
