Nerf wall!
The kids wanted a Nerf armory, and Mom and Dad wanted clutter to go away, so I made a framed "wall" holder for all their nerf guns. I built up the trim a half inch so I could put some LEDs around the perimeter. They're stoked, and the floor is clean!
I used a piece of pallet plywood for the backer and it was the crappiest piece of plywood imaginable. Voids, rough, some weird birds eye pattern, and it wasn't even flat or a consistent thickness. Managed to polish this turd ok tho. The black paint hides a lot of it. As do the nerf guns. And it straightened out pretty well when I screwed it into some studs.
