Modular Scrapwood Crawler Course
The boys and I have recently gotten into RC rock crawling. We made a modular crawler course together. Maybe not your typical project on this site! But we used just about every tool in the shop, and the kids are actually excited to get outside and create stuff instead of playing videogames. Does my heart good.
Me and my 3 boys each designed our own section. Each section can be moved, reversed, angled, or flat, which makes for tons of replayability. We've spent hours just rearranging the course and seeing who can make it past the toughest obstacles. And it's super easy to modify.
The second best part, other than the kids wanting to partake, is that itjustifies remedies my scrap hoarding. Feels good to clean some of this out and put it to use. Most of this is a broken down pallet our new flooring came on. For this kinda thing, I'm really happy with the dilapidated look. Fun.

super cool jams ! thats what family time with the kids is all about, getting out in the fresh air and sun as opposed to them being in a dark bedroom playing video games all day. what kid wouldn't love to do this ! nice job my friend ! hell id love to do this !

Not sure how I missed this but love the family collaboration and love the use of scrap wood (to help justify my own stores!).
So good to see this. Love it.. Oh and great flex on the Bronco's suspension hehe.
