One of the Instagram woodworkers  Mark Dainer put out a challenge to clean out some clutter in ones shed.

https://www.youtube.com/user/markdainer

I’ve put together another set of live edge serving boards.

One lot Silky Oak & a strip of hardwood

and the other Camphor Laurel & Cedar.

All polished with Kustom Creations step#1 50000grit food grade polish

This makes a total of 7 boards I've made in the cleaning out a little of the clutter in my shed.

All will be for gifts, donations or fundraisers.

Some amazing grain on them. I can see why you kept pieces of that around.

How are you attaching the border wood?

The long sides on the thicker boards (1-1/8”) made from Camphor Laurel and Cedar were biscuited and glued with Titebond 3. The ends on these boards I’ve again used the Titebond 3.
The Silky Oak and Hardwood boards are only 3/4” thick so I’ve just used the Titebond 3.
All the boards were sanded down to 320grit before the polishing.

Your "clutter" is much better looking than mine!  Love the color and the grain.  These all look so nice and will be wonderful gifts.
Well done, all look great.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Nice job. They look way better as serving boards than pieces of wood in your shop!
Very nice!  I really like the design, and well done

Great use of offcuts. Well done.
Well that's something worthwhile crowing about!

Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your kind words of encouragement and support.
On the selling question; I might have sold 5-10 items in total out of the hundreds of projects. Most are given away, gifted, donated or used for fundraising.
Oh, I often do ask for payment in the form of a photograph of the smiling child with the handmade wooden toy as payment in full.
