We have out 60 yr reunion coming up on June 8th at Marmion Military Academy so I thought I'd make some tags for the guys signed up to attend. We had 197 in our class both day students and borders. I wish more had planned to attend as this might be the last one for a lot of us. Many have died but we are all 77 and 78 yrs old so it is getting hard to travel for some.
I made the first prototype tag for me and then modified it to a smaller size and engraved and cut them out on my new CNC laser. They are made from 1/8" Baltic birch plywood and are finished with semi gloss spray!

Hi Jim, That will be a wonderful reunion....60 years.....What a lovely personal touch and nice and sturdy too....1/8 inch Baltic Ply will be a permanent memento for everyone attending. 1964 is a long time ago.
Great work Jim, the tags will be appreciated and treasured.
Thank you all for the nice comments. I had to make another one today for a guy who is coming but not on the school list. I hope they like them for mementos of the night!!

Jim, very nice! I'm sure all the alums will like these remembrance items very much. I have used the same technique for the logo coin insert for things I make. A great way to "sign" your work and use the available tech to solve the need.
After the reunion I had to make few more tags for those that I didn't know were coming and and I also made one for my very best friend since kindergarten, Jim Dollinger, who died at 62. I mounted the tag with his photo.
