Step Stool for Harper
I am going to Illinois for my 60th reunion this weekend and I will be real close to where my great great niece lives and planned a visit. It is her birthday on the next weekend so I made an early birthday gift for her. It will be handy for her to get up to the sink to brush her teeth when she gets old enough...she will be 2 on the 15th.
The stool is made from red oak and I did not want any fasteners showing. The legs and aprons are pocket screwed, doweled and glued on.
I put a concave pocket around the under side of the top overhang to make it easy to pick up
It is 8" x 11" and 7"high and finished with clear semi-gloss polyurethane.
