great idea rick, wish i was a reader but more of a video guy !

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Yeah.... I'm more of a video guy too. I made a stand for this. 2 positions for vertical or horizontal. Hole is for charging cable.
I've thought about making one, but I typically hold both sides so not sure how much use it would get.  What did you base the angles on?  Might need to try one.
As you say; simple and quick, but also down right handy and slick. Nice device, functions well and would be appreciated by anyone. 👍
Nice build.

I have swapped to a Kindle, still looking for a wooden something something that would be comfy to use in any seated position, legs crossed, straight or bent up at the knees, been looking, still looking. So many are one position only, and evidently I am restless. Almost, at trying something across the armrests, like a tray, but not sure if moving legs would keep bumping it? Then it would also take a bit of space to keep it when not reading. Reading at the table isn't a problem, want to continue doing it in big puffy recliner, that is the problem area, get tired of holding, but so far that is the issue.
BB1... Good question. I opened a book several times to see what angles I normally hold it to and then traced the curves by holding the book on end to a piece of paper. This became my template.
Thanks OldTool and GeorgeWest!
GeorgeWest....I made one of these for my lap when reading books. Adjustable at any angle and can rest on your lap or table or just about anywhere.

That's a great idea.  👍
Hey BB1... how do you paste in my comment like you did above along with your comment? How's this done?

Rick. copy it along with the person who you are quoting's name, then come down to the text box, and click on the quote marks, and the line will pop up. Paste in your copied info, and you will probably need to snip out the time, and non pertinent info you get with a copy, and drag motion.

As above see the commented 26 minutes ago, and that it's a "new" comment, this is what I edit out, and it leaves your quote. That's how I do it anyhow.

Cut and paste the info once you hit the "quote" symbol.  Then hit return twice to get back to type your response.

Thanks BB1 and GeorgeWest!
