Wooden Dough Paddles

I made these wooden dough paddles for my wife when she makes bread.

They were made out of leftover maple off cuts. Then wood butter applied.

Originally paddles like these were used to make pasta. Specifically gnocci. But they also can be used for molding dough, butter, etc.

They are an essential piece of equipment for any home butter enthusiast and / or baker.

The deep grooves are perfect for shaping and removing excess liquids and shaping gnocchi and other dumplings.

It also allows you to give the dough a beautiful texture finish.

My wife really likes them when shaping her bread dough after removal from her bread machine which kneads it.

Simple but very effective.

Think Christmas guys!

Thanks for looking!

Feel free to comment, ask questions and thumbs up if you like it!
