Small Hand Crosses

I made a few of these before I had my laser. So now this batch of 11 is engraved on the back with the intention of personalizing them with a name on the front side. They are made of 3/8" mesquite, all edges are routed with 1/16" radius and they are  buffed and waxed to make them feel good. These will all be gifts.
I made a jig to hold them while engraving to hold the alignment because no 2 are exactly the same size.

Beautifully done and such lovely gifts.  What are the general height and width?
Great work, very nice looking. Will make great gifts.
Nice gifts!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

How do you buff?  If with a "grinder/lathe" with large buff, how often do you suffer missiles... or have you mastered the pressure and eagle eye the angle of contact.

For my puzzles, I spend 1/2 my time on all 4s looking for that "most inconvenient cranny" homing missile.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

LBD, with your shops overhead structure. I'm surprised you don't have a suspended net (like a batting cage) that would keep the missiles within easy retrieval.

It's the missiles that do a kamikaze and roll under structures and down cracks that give me grief and require all 4s... for airborne I use my wings..

Nicely done sir.
I made a bunch of them for an old Navy Chaplin friend last year
