Cube shelves

My daughter wished for cube shelves to hang on the wall. I bought a sheet of MDF and prepared pieces for the sides of size 30x30cm (12x12´´). First I had to make a better and larger table saw sled to be able to saw square pieces. Then everything went smooth. There was material enough for four boxes which I glued and nailed with a nail gun. After spray painting the boxes I divided each box in two with depths 12 and 18 cm so in total there are eight boxes with two different depths. I routed recesses so that I could add wall hanging fittings. The shelves can be combined in a lot of different ways on the wall, see last picture for different ideas. Let's see what my daughter comes up with!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

That style has become very popular, flexibility rules!

Good looking set.
