AC six

It was PapaDave who asked to make a AC six. An unknown brand from a small factory that still exists. Also a typical British brand and that is why I mounted the steering wheel on the right side. I am working on several projects, one of which keeps me busy for a long time. That is why I wanted to do another project in between. This AC six is, despite some challenges, fairly easy to make.

The used woods are Yellow Poplar (Tulip), Merbau, Oak, Wenge, Beli and Beech. Making the nose and the trunk are the difficult parts. The car features in the TV production Downton Abbey.

LBD made a braekdown video.

Thanks for watching. Comments are apreciated.

Beautifully done!  I really like how the grain flows on the body of the car, and all the other details too.
Awesome job!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Great work as usual.

Yes!

The wood choices and working with the grain is an excellent final touch.

That's really cool looking! The rumble seat and removable trunk are nice features.
Looks fantastic.

I can’t wait to knock off some of the construction and furniture projects on my Honey-do list.
Another FIRST CLASS model from one very clever creative craftsman, well done Dutchy

ANother great addition to an already impressive collection... both finished models and plans.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
