I wanted to try a camo design acrylic for one of the lever action pens and when I ordered the kits there was some blanks on sale. So I bought half a dozen and it turns out that one blank has enough material to make the front and rear of the pen. I guess a blind squirrel gets a nut every once in a while after all.
Anyway, I wanted to mention something that probably everybody here already knows - it seems that Acrylic scratches when you breath on it and it's not a whole lot of fun getting them out. But it can be done if you spend enough time and paper to do it.
This being my first dive into acrylic, I feel really lucky that I figured it out before I had to trash the whole ides.
So here it is, my first attempt with acrylic
