This handcrafted Mission-style blanket chest was designed for a covered patio to store outdoor cushions while enhancing the client’s rustic entertainment space.
Key features include dual-access storage, a soft-close lift-top lid, and lower doors with bronze hinges to resist rusting. Made from white oak with black epoxy-filled knots. It was assembled with marine-grade epoxy, reinforced with steel battens to prevent warping, and finished with tung oil for natural aging and easy upkeep.

Nicely done!  Will view the video - always enjoy your build videos and try to pick up a new technique or two along the way.

That's a really good looking storage cabinet!
Watched the video while I got in my workout. Really enjoyed the attention to all the details, and your explanation of each step.

The description of the finish and the opportunity for it to "grey out over time and age gracefully" ... well I laughed inside as I'm personally following that advice 🤣

Again-great project. Thanks for sharing.
Nicely done.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Great build. I never saw raised panels on a mission design. I stopped watching your video which was great until you stared talking about panties in a bunch over and over.
