What to say - another stunning project built with meticulous attention to detail. Your projects are always inspiring to me. Appreciate how you share your process and knowledge.
Amazing! Lots of details to look at.  20 BF of walnut?!

Thanks, I'm always trying BB!

DL, yep! I get the bf. of all the boards I pull from my stash. If they have cutoffs of the original width, I'll just deduct that otherwise it gets added to the total.
In the end it is wood used + scrap (10%-15% about)

Thanks Duck!
Well Mr. Splint, I've been thinking about words that could express my awe of this beautiful lamp, the best I can come up with is - 👍👍

Seriously, the amount of fine detail work that goes into this beautiful lamp is mind boggling. There are no hidden surfaces that do not need fine finishing, there are a million joints that all have to be perfect, the need to determine the perfect angles at joints & successfully cutting them, awesome to say the least. Beautifully done sir, beautifully done.
Beautiful work top to bottom. Remarkable right down to the vintage lightbulbs!
very beautiful work GR8 JOB 😍😎👍

Toms, Tony, Dave, big thanks!

Jim, had to laugh. Maybe would make a good shop lamp?
Beautiful.  I really like your lamp projects. I've still got your lamp shade blog saved over at that "other" site. I hope to build some lamps for our bedroom and living room. Your blogs will be invaluable. Anyway, great job. Thanks for the detail. Your work is top notch...
It's really amazing. Thank you for your blog entries, too. There were many useful information! It's a very beautiful lamp.

No name noobie here

That ticked all the boxes. WOW!!

I'm probly going to let you down but, I swear I won't keep you down. John Hiatt

Thanks Hairy & YRTi
I enjoyed making it, but I really need to leave these bigger things for retirement when I can turn turning a few months of weekends into a few weeks of unrushed shop time.

Gonna be a fun change!
Beautiful floor lamp. I like everything about it. Definitely on my bucket list.
