My mess

First picture is exiting the house & into the garage which is allegedly 3 cars but at only 27'9 11/16" × 19'9 1/2" is more like a three golf cart garage.  There's a little space off to the side where the formerly large water heater and some utilities, plus a sink & air compressor are tucked away.  The pictures pretty much speak for themselves, it's quite a mess, not very efficient and more than a little dangerous but I'm (sort of) making it work.

And the rest of the photos I wasn't able to load as part of the project:

Wow, that's a lot of stuff in a small area. Do you know where everything is? I see many multiples of many tools, guess you can go in any direction to get the needed tool.
Yes, it is.
Ehh, sorta.
Pretty much.
thanks for sharing yeti. always love to see shops no matter how cluttered. love your old skil collection.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

You've got a little bit of everything in there! Thanks for sharing.
Wish I had a shop sink - benefit of your attached garage (assuming this is on your house rather than separate).

For the routers- are they for different purposes/setups, or more of a collection?

Thanks for sharing.
The garage is attached and the sink is handy but kinda in the way.  I need to turn it 90° & replace it with a much narrower sink.  The routers mostly have different bits in them but not consistently enough where I can grab anyone already knowing what's in the collet, like many things, it's a work in progress.  Some I did buy because they looked cool/collectible but they all have to run and pull their own weight.
Having that large of a sink would be hard downsize. Right now my water source is a gallon jug in case I need to dampen a cloth to deal with extra glue - running water would be a big upgrade!

yeah barb running water is a blessing, let me tell ya !

Quite a collection.

I love having a shop sink. It’s in the way but the benefits outweigh the detriments. Nice shop!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Big Block.....I love the racks of tools...that is all of our dreams....my God how many routers and skil saws do you have?  THat is so awesome....thanks for showing!

Yeti, that is a collection, but way too cramped for me. Plus I'd spend more time than I already do searching for ??????? Damn been searching so long I forgot what I was looking for.
About 2 dozen routers and a little over 100 circular saws of which ~80% are ready to run.  Some are impractical for anything but a specific task such as those 10" and greater unless the capacity is needed.  If it's not needed (though often slabs from the sawmill do necessitate them) they're a PITA to use vs. something smaller.  I used to fix power tools professionally at a lumber yard while in college, that and working in HVAC were two great jobs to have complimenting my education and ultimately earning my engineering degree.  I came to appreciate the older stuff that was built long before the idea of planned obsolescence became the reality built into everything today.  I may have to take some elevated shots to show there is in fact some areas where I can stand and safely(ish) work with sharp spinney things without involving the removal of flesh.
