ok i did 5 more pens today. these are for gifts for the men coming to our fall party next month. these are majestic squire, my favorite. i think it's just a very elegant pen. there is a swarovrski crystal on the clip. the finish on the kit is gunmetal, also my favorite finish in a pen. the finish on the wood is 6 coats of gloss lacquer wet sanded with micro mesh. im not a CA glue fan at all. i keep that for "gluing" things ! pen #1 is koa. the pics arent the best but the best i can do with a phone camera. pen #2 is ? pen #3 is amboyna burl pen #4 is cocobolo pen #5 is red malee burl

thanks guys. yeah i love the amboyna and im glad i had it from many years ago because today the best stuff can go for over 15.00 a blank ! tomorrow i got 6 princess pens to do for the ladies that will be coming to the party.

Gotta admit, they're more befitting the curves (bulge).
Call me sexist, but I tend to reserve these type of single blank (usually Elegant beauty and such) for the ladies and the cigars for the big fisted blokes.
If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD
