Ambrosia Maple Bandsaw Box

Chunk of Ambrosia Maple just lying on the shelf, somehow it looked like it needed to be a box.
Thus a bandsaw box.
10 inches tall, 5 inches wide, 3 3/4 inches deep.
cut on an old Delta 10inch bandsaw with sanding afterwards.
The 4 drawers are all flocked with green flocking.
Drawer pulls are simple store bought knobs.
Finish is wipe on poly, then buffed, waxed and rebuffed.
Fairly straight forward bandsaw box method.   Cut the outline of the box, cut off the back. cut out the drawers, etc.
Why this piece of maple turned slightly darker, have no idea.,,,,but it gave it a better look.
The streaks in the maple helped the look of the box.
Not a big fan of bandsaw boxes but this one turned out okay.

Nice!

Always interesting what nice types of wood that folks have laying around their shop.
Looks nice! I don't have much dexterity for bandsaw or scroll saw work anymore. I like those knobs. What store did you buy them from?

Have no recollection of where the knobs came from.  Been in a storage box for some time.    Sorry!
Thanks all for the comments.

Fantastic saw work Ron! That requires a fair bit of concentration to keep the flow like that on the saw.
Wish I could "color in the lines" as well, that box is neat.
DL ill bet hobby lobby will have some like those ? maybe even amazon ?
