Penny Drop Game Box
I learned of this game at our last craft show in the park. I looked up the boxes they sell for this game on line and made my version. It is just a crude prototype made with a bandsaw and router in the park shop. It is made from mesquite and has a penny embedded in the top instead of writing out the word. I sure miss my laser down here. The game is played with 2-10 payers each starting with 12 pennies. The object is to get rid of all your pennies. First one to do it wins all the pennies in the box. Nice fun build Jim. Never heard of the game until now. Save or win the pennies Jim they are not going to be minted after 2026 and let’s hope your game doesn’t go by the way of the dinosaurs, or the penny. A penny for your thoughts?
id say maybe upgrade to silver dollars jim, a lot more fun 😏🤑

Interesting game, nice prototype version. Should make one that uses silver dollars, more suspenseful.

I am a hoarder of pennies. I'll never run out of them!! This box will also hold dimes. I would not be able to afford it with silver dollars...maybe I'll make one for quarters if I like the game. We're going to play it soon. The lady that told me about it said that each person throws a quarter in the box to start each game to make it worthwhile to win!!!

i just read that the mint auctioned off the last ones minted in november. there were 232 sets of 3 representing how many years they were made. the total at auction was 16.7 million ! the 232 set went for 800.000 and the winner also got the stamps they were struck from. who said pennies are worthless 🤣
