Another Diamond Dot Frame

I made this frame for the latest Diamond  Dot project my wife completed. It is 11" x 14.5"and 5/8" thick and made from Mesquite...then she said she wanted it  to be black!!!!!!!!!!! It felt like a sin to paint the frame black but it is what it is.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my Craftisian  friends

I didn't know what a diamond dot painting was until now! I looked it up. Man o man.... all those little resin diamonds in holes to make a picture would drive me to a booby hatch! You should have made a resin diamond or glass frame! LOL.
looks great, and a lot of work !

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Picture and frame compliment each other!

Looking good! I'd like a five-window truck someday.

Perfect frame for perfect painting

Great painting and frame I really like it. The frame is perfect for the style of the painting. It’s so appropriate for Christmas and winter. If you knew it was to be painted black you could have made it out of poplar or pine but the black really makes  the painting stand out.

Appropriate project for this time of the year. Very nice.

Bedazzled and framed, you are a finisher Jim!
Nice! Bedazzled 😂

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Nicely done but I feel your pain in painting wood.
Nice frame, nice picture. Merry Christmas to you as well Jim.
Next time tell the wife you've run out of paint. Won't hurt to try.

Nothing wrong with Black!
