Table Cover

I had just finished painting the frame on our deck table that got torn up by the sun. I made a cover for the 48" table out of Four Winns white boat vinyl and UV resistant thread. It has a 10" wide apron that is made from 4 pieces. It was a lot of work on my little sewing machine table to handle that large of a piece of vinyl but it sewed it easily. About 20 years ago I got this whole bolt of white vinyl free from Guilford of Maine -  a supplier we used to deal with the I was working at Steelcase. It has made many projects !!

Nice cover! If I had free material I'd make covers for our patio furniture. The sun and rain beat the snot out them.

There's nothing Jim can't build. It's all top notch also
That will take care of it for sure!
Cool, a master of multiple trades. This could come in handy on a woodworking project, when material needs to be used, like a game table for example. Nice.
Down here is s/w fla we need straps under the covers.  Wind blows hard at times.

Nice job

Thank you all for the nice comments on this cover. I put it under needleworking and it does not show up when I click on projects. Anyone know why?

Hi Bruce. I just do upholstery om my project I make..no repairs. I'm not good enough for that. Patti Dooley helps me out there.
Hi Larry and Mike. I try anything once. My wife does not sew so if If you want it done, do it yourself!!! This Bernette machine I got from my neighbor. He was going to throw it in the trash and asked me if I wanted it. It is much better than my 75 yr old Nelco that sewed up the skirt on my hovercraft.!
