In my never ending quest for organization I printed all these gridfinity boxes. I have a "Home Hardware Store" and have purchased a lot of hardware sets. Metric, SAE, and various specialized screw sets and such. I have several drawer units, but this allows me to sort and label specific screws, washers and nuts with in the interior bins. This particular set up is in cases that I can label the case on the outside and take it to the bench. They do however, have grids that can be put into tool boxes and bins printed for that. I have found too many great tools over the years and do not have room in my tool boxes for anything other than the tools I have, so I made these outer cases. There are a bunch of different bins available to be printed. They even have outer shells that the cases fit in, if you wish. I must say, while these are nice and I really like them, a roll of filament only really prints one case. So I have a lot of costs in these cases. The two boxes pictured were just two examples of the different bin arrangements. The boxes are a combination of PETG, PLA but mostly PLA Tough.
Seems you have been busy, hope you sat by and supervised the machine 😎 Amazing how fast you have mastered the process, really great looking set!
Really like the options you have made, so much hardware and so few good options for keeping all those small bits in places where you can find them. Now to do the dirty work of moving it all...
Great job Moke.... what are the dimensions (printer capacity)?
Do they work similar to 'tainers? Can you open a box half way down and tilt the top forward?
I've always found that the item I wanted was always on the bottom and if stored in cabinet it was a PITA to get to... that's why I initially hated 'tainers till I discovered these bases... You could use the same concept with 3D printed/wooden mobile bases.

Thank you all...they are 10x10 they barely fit on the plate. I have about 22.00 to 25.00 per box and bins I would guess. HF bins are 9.00...so not all that economical. They do not lock together...they do nest but not locked....
I do have a bunch of the usual wall bins and this set up below for more stuff.....I call it all, Mikey's Hardware
Oh Ron...they are just black...because they are black the photographer in me added an accent light to show them off a little more...that combined with a little photoshop changed the color some....
And - Duckie they do not tip back like a systainer....I am just going to put up a dedicated shelf and put them on there....I may print more as the hardware store grows...

That is the ideal solution as long as you don't stack them... no mater how OCD one is, the one you want will always be on the bottom.
Nearly missed noticing the "trolley" because of the Fe$tool bling. That seems ideal providing each box can be independently pulled out.
Still, the project object is a handy use of the printer... sure beats Yodas/dragons(with the exception of your Trooperess).
