Wall-Mounted Mid-Century Modern TV Cabinet
A wall-mounted TV cabinet in solid walnut with wenge accent shelves, in a mid-century modern style

A few highlights from the build:
- Grain matching and sapwood management for a clean, minimal look
- Long grain glue-ups with domino alignment
- Accurate miters on the table saw using a glue block method
- Decorative back bevels to catch the light
- Dado joinery for the decorative end shelves
- Concealed French cleat wall mounting system
- Wenge accent shelves with a custom notched wrap-around fit
The cabinet is prefinished before final assembly, with the glue joints taped off. The brad nails on the wenge shelves are filled with black wood filler that disappears right into the natural streaking of the wenge.
