Majestic Squire Click Pen

These two pens were made with the Majestic Squire Click Pen kits from Penn State. They are gun metal finish and the clips have a piece of Swarovski Crystal  in the end of them. One is Olive wood and I think the other one is a piece of apple wood.
I turn the blanks round, drill out the center and then epoxy in the tube. I put them back in the chuck in the lathe and face off the ends flush to the tube. Then they go on the mandrel with brass bushings holding them for turning to size. I coat them with shellac and then put them back on the mandrel with nylon ends and finish sanding ( to 2400) and polishing with EEE and Shellawax. I use the nylon bushing ends for polishing because the EEE will cut the brass and turn the wood black during the polishing.
These kits have the German Schmidt click mechanisms and they are real smooth.

Now that is a  knife  pen.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Thank you all for the nice comments. These are super easy to make once I have the bushings turned!!!
