My youngest, my daughter, will be 30 on the 18th. To help her learn to spell her name, I came up with the little “Ditty” I stenciled on this sign. Made it from a pallet board (Yellow Pine), some left over Redwood, a shelf paper stencil (Cut on a Silhouete SD cutter) then sponge painted the lettering and it coated with Poly Acrylic sprayed through my Harbor Freight HVLP gun. Nothing fancy, but I knocked it out in two days, which involved napping, motorcycle riding and messing with getting the stencil cut and figuring out the sponge painting.

That’s a great looking sign! At first I thought you had used a laser!

I like the idea that planning a project involves a consideration of napping. Great sign by the way.
