My wife really enjoys to flower garden. Over the years she has created a beautiful backyard. She asked me to create a garden arch for the entrance to the backyard.
To wire up the light I routed a dado through the middle of the arch and hard wired it to a switch that is inside the house.
We wanted something that would invite the passersby to stop and see what is in bloom.
Making sawdust is what I do best!
Nice work, it looks very inviting.

Thanks everyone! Apparently I’m not done yet. She is asking for a simple wooden gate now. I guess I need to get back out in the shop and get busy . . .life is good!

Beautiful arch and the light is great. I never saw that on a garden arch but it makes so much sense. Nice job.
