All my grand children have a toy box built by me . I used 3/8 " interior plywood good one side and 1" X 6" pine . Here is pictures of one I am working now!

Here are pictures of one 14 years old

I don’t think particle board would look that nice .

This is toy box I made for granddaughter some years ago. I like your version for size and construction. I used 3/8" interior,finished both sides plywood and it has casters. Thanks for sharing, always love your work.

James L Wilcox – that is a really impressive toy box , I like the letters . The reason I made mine larger was so when the got older they could be used as a hope chest .
