This desktop center is made from white oak, finished in shellac, and steel wool buffed with paste wax. Cork bottom and cavity inserts. The entire piece contains natural and inherited imperfections that add loads of character to the straightforward design.

Very nice. I made some desk drawer pencil trays once. Nothing like a glove fit for the things you use daily.
