PRAIRIE TRAY

I created this tray for our harvest festival and wood working show and thought a prairie influenced design would work great .
Made from walnut and maple the sides and wing shaped handles are laminated from individual strips and pieces and the bottom is 1/8" walnut laminated to a sub base and floats in a dado . Finished with bees wax and BLO mix .
I hope some of you recognize the grain elevator’s and harvest grain and harvest record book which are typical .
